M.A.C. Sales Manager
Achieve retail and net sales budgets. Set yearly/monthly retail and unit targets, yearly/monthly sales and stock plan.
Develop a monthly sell-thru program by store/group in conjunction with marketing, training and public relations.
Work with store management to develop business strategies and sell-thru programs aimed at building a profitable partnership.
Develop innovative ways to increase the business and present to Brand management as keeping an eye on growth of basic business.
Prepare annual sales forecast (sell-in/sell-thru) and participate in determining market potential.
Spend 50% of time in the field “hands-on” reviewing and implementing sales and merchandising strategies.
Ensure that all counters are fully staffed by well-trained, highly motivated and productive Beauty Advisors with excellent customer service.
Provides leadership, guidance and management to staff
Provides coaching, constructive feedback, supervising, motivating and developing sales staff.
Ensure subordinates effectiveness, Make Up Artists productivity, team sprit and motivation
Acts with integrity – honors commitments, takes responsibility for decisions, and behaves consistently.
Provides direction. Clearly communicates priorities and required results.
Shapes environment to foster open communication and teamwork.
Oversee the recruitment of all Beauty Advisors and aim to reduce staff attrition through team building.
University level education or equivalent
Min 5 years of relevant sales or sales - related experience and sound understanding of retail operations management
English is a required language proficiency
Leadership role in a sales function in a global business
Knowledgeable about the company and its culture
Broad and deep knowledge of the sales function of the brand
Good industry knowledge and network of relationships in the industry – with customers, distributors, retailers, suppliers, advertising agencies, and other business partners
