Job Description:

This is a new business development opportunity at Incirlik AB, Turkey. Expected contract award is August 2017. Must have the following:

  • Current US Secret security clearance

  • current experience supporting intrusion detection systems

  • currently employed at Incirlik AB, Turkey

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides systems administrator technical installation, integration, and maintenance of all security systems and associated IT networks, systems and support equipment. Performs all related IT support required to host upgraded security systems. Tests, repairs and troubleshoots network equipment problems. Performs systems maintenance. Expected to work as an active member of a team.

Under general supervision, maintains data files and control procedures for the security system. Responsible for system security and data integrity. Assigns passwords and monitors use of resources, backs up files as required and responds to management requests for information. Expected to work as an active member of a team.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Establishes and maintains user accounts, assigns file permissions and establishes password and account policies; installs, upgrades, configures, tests, maintains and supports operating system software in a production environment. Reviews performance logs and monitors system performance. Tasks to be performed may consist of, but are not limited to: Install and maintain all security systems and associated IT networks, systems and support equipment, keep security systems located at his/her site in optimal operating condition, perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for suspect or faulty equipment as outlined in the manufacturer’s maintenance instructions, establish a maintenance routine to inspect and test security equipment, replace worn or broken equipment from available spares or residual equipment, return broken or damaged equipment to the depot facility IAW established Returned Material Authorization (RMA) procedures, run daily activity logs from the annunciator to analyze system performance trends, provide monthly alarm log reports to the FE (if present), unit command structure, and others as directed, keep a current inventory of all FPS3 equipment located at the site, maintain and update the system configuration of the Annunciator, provide refresher training on equipment for personnel assigned to administer and/or operate the system. Train personnel on operational, field level maintenance, depot, and any higher headquarters procedures. Assist in developing local security system subject matter experts.

REQUIRED: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate.

  • Possesses a minimum of five years of technical experience relating to physical or electronic security system projects.

  • Currently holds at least a Secret clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with USAF Security Forces guidelines and regulations (AFI 31-101 and ESS Equipment Siting Guide)

  • Certifications in annunciator systems such as Honeywell Vindicator, Will-Burt LINX Predator Elite, Advantor, Hirsch, AMAG, Lenel, and Software House

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite

  • Record of team, or crew leadership

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to work at heights form a ladder or man-lift

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate. Possesses a minimum of five ye ars of technical experience relating to phy sical or electronic secur ity system projects.
