This is a new business development opportunity at Incirlik AB, Turkey. Expected contract award is August 2017. Must have the following:
Current US Secret security clearance
current experience supporting intrusion detection systems
currently employed at Incirlik AB, Turkey
This is an electronic security systems position for a USAF Force Protection Security Systems Contract. Individual provides senior level technical installation, integration, and test support for advanced electronic security systems. Performs security systems maintenance. Working knowledge of physical and electronic security systems and equipment is required. Expected to work as an active member of a team.
Responsible for all leading and accomplishing all technical services essential to support security system installation activities at the client site. The tasks to be performed/supervised may consist of, but are not limited to: Work closely with the site’s Force Protection and Security Forces personnel on all security system issues, provide technical expertise and maintain all security systems at designated sites, perform security site surveys as required by Force Protection staff, provide initial and/or refresher training on equipment for personnel assigned to administer and/or operate the system, train personnel on operational, field-level, or depot maintenance, as well as higher headquarters procedures, help local Force Protection Commanders develop security system subject matter experts within their command and make recommendations to the Security Forces Commander on the placement of new or upgraded equipment.
REQUIRED: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess a minimum of ten years of technical experience in a specific function/ technological area related to physical or electronic security systems.
Associate’s degree or equivalent in the functional/ technological area. An additional two years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Currently holds at least a Secret clearance.
Experience with USAF Security Forces guidelines and regulations (AFI 31-101 and ESS Equipment Siting Guide)
Certifications in annunciator systems such as Honeywell Vindicator, Will-Burt LINX Predator Elite, Advantor, Hirsch, AMAG, Lenel, and Software House
Proficient with MS Office Suite including MS Project
Record of project, team, or crew leadership
Normal demands associated with office and field environments
Ability to routinely lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to work at heights from a ladder or man-lift
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or computer science with a minimum of five years of technical experience relating to physical or electronic security system projects. An additional four years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
