Allegion Architectural Consultant in Istanbul, Turkey
As Allegion Turkey, we are looking for an Architectural Consultant who will be responsible for demand creation by building relationships with key architects/consultants, real estate investment companies and real estate departments of the governmental institutions to understand the upcoming pipeline of projects by becoming their consultant of choice by providing education on codes compliance, new solutions, and specification writing services.
Develop relationships with key selected architects/consultants, real estate investment companies who are focused on the key verticals of Transportation, Healthcare, Education and Hospitality as well as the real estate departments of governmental institutions.
Increase clients’ product and application knowledge by regularly conducting “lunch & learn” training events
Communicate strategic project information to assist in the formation of a project call strategy for the sales team.
Exhibit an understanding of electro-mechanical products and solutions including access control and software.
Work in conjunction with Sales team when requested for joint sales calls, spec guides, etc.
Communicate the specifications being written on a monthly basis to appropriate managers
Assist in the Architectural education process by conveying new products/services to the clients
Conduct regular presentations
Communicate updates to local building codes
Fluent in both spoken and written English.
BS/BA or equivalent from an accredited school of higher education, preferably Mechanical Engineering or Architecture
Experience of working for a multi-national organization and working within international markets would be advantageous
Extensive knowledge of relevant mechanical product (EAC advantageous), knowledge of competitor product would be desirable
Experience of specification writing and dealing with both channel partners (project and trade) and an architectural base
Architectural background a plus, local Architectural contact knowledge / network advantageous.
A strong team player with the ability to work within cross-cultural work groups
Commercial acumen with intense customer focus and demonstrable track record in specification/ demand creation activity
Excellent interpersonal skills to stimulate demand creation activity
Self motivated with pro-active approach to problem solving
Ability to manage competing priorities with multiple projects and strict time constraints
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Current driving license, must be able to travel freely.
