- Proactively review business and consumer needs, transforming business needs into realizable propositions. Initiate creation of adequate conversion product team and assure its direct linkage to customer. Communicate plant product opportunities and ensure optimal utilization of plant capacities, while fulfilling strategic plans.
New Product Launch and Modification
Ensure conversion product launch preparation and launch via adequate co-ordination, contingencies and communication. Lead and execute all product-related changes, both in terms of product and packaging in co-operation with R&D and Marketing, and process-related changes in co-operation with Procurement, R&D and Quality Assurance. Initiate and manage harmonization of manufacturing process and de-complexity of product portfolio. Engineering, Project Management, IL6S
Develop the site master plans (facility and asset long-rang plans), in accordance with the plants Compelling Business Need (CBN) including safety, service, cash flow, productivity and growth targets.
Drive the technical agenda towards 85% Global Line Efficiency and for new lines 100% Vertical Start-up as well as leading the development and execution of new initiatives in line with the site master plan.
Manage local Engineering department engineering projects inline with World Class Project Management expectations, including Scope, Cost, Timeline planning and tracking. Follow IL6S guidelines in design, execution of projects. Perform gap analysis versus current practice and lead corrective actions, ensure that best practices are known and understood within project or study team and that identified company expertise is known and exploited.
Promote ‘Integrated Lean 6 Sigma (IL6S)’ cultural change throughout the organization through functional capability building and driving/applying IL6S work processes.
Support the ‘Innovation Initiative Pillar (IIM)’ implementation in the site. IIM is one of eleven pillars of IL6S being responsible for Vertical Start Up management and Technical Readiness in all initiatives. Cross-functional Co-operation
Lead active partnership with commercial units, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D and manage Communication process for new ventures, product promotions and other major business development projects. Deal with plant Business unit clients to assure optimal delivery compliance versus demand and to negotiate timing on new product development and promotional activities. Budget
Plan and Manage Plant Project based Capital and Operational budget. Ensure the required infrastructure to provide high-level service for Manufacturing and Business Unit. Ensure budget is planned correctly and monitor spending and accruals. Manage all the investment projects.
Manage in-time completion and submission of Operations reports and presentations. Manage production consolidation initiatives and represent the plant in inter-country sourcing projects. Monitor and report all plant KPIs related to utilization rate, project execution (cost, quality, service level, time to market).Deliver VSU (Vertical Startups) KPI by delivering Zero Safety and Quality losses supported by Cost, Delivery targets set in the planned startup duration QSSE

University education in Engineering
Fundamental know how and experience in food processes and products
Good knowledge of technical and financial affairs
Good spoken and written English is essential for this role.
Fluency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, project management software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
Knowledgeable of latest developments, practices and trends in Food Engineering and technologies
Good knowledge in confectionery and snacks technology and suppliers of respective equipment
Experience in IL6S (TPM) and its pillars.
Good knowledge of NPD ( Leading and Managing New Product Development Process)
