As Nokia s ION Regional Engineering Delivery (RED) Turkey HUB we re looking for Integration, Testing and Validation Proffessionals in order to deliver network engineering activities in EMEA region.

Within the team, you will find the opportunity to work on the next generation IP routing technologies in an international setting and be part of a team of experts.

As ION RED team, we act both as backend and frontend experts. Our main mission is delivering engineering activities for IP product portfolio within customer projects.

As an Integration, Testing and Validation professional, you will be involved in proposing solutions according to customer needs, ensuring flawless delivery of installation and commissioning activities, leading configuration, integration and customer acceptance activities of Nokia s IP routing portfolio.

Base location is Istanbul/Turkey with up to 90% of travel to customer sites in different cities/countries if and when required.

In conjunction with the Consultancy, TPM and Engineering Competence teams; ITV engineer is responsible and accountable for:

  • Ensuring efficient delivery of IP Routing Products and Solutions presentations/PoC/Demos to customers

  • Ensuring solution architecture is right first time and meets contracted compliance levels

  • Reviewing and validating engineering requirements against product capabilities

  • Ensuring hardware, software and firmware versions are identified for solution,

  • Ensuring pre-existing limitations and defects are identified in order to make sure that the solution can be engineered to meet requirements

  • Supporting network consultants during development of the solution and customer design reviews

  • Identifing technical skill gaps of other organizations involved in the project and perform workshop/OJT when required

  • Reviewing and approving Methods of Procedures prior to implementation

  • Providing customers with a variety of support services, including but not limited to providing remote and on-site operation support when needed (resident at customer premises or not)

  • Providing technical support activities such as configuration support, network element deployment support, maintenance release and software update and on-site training

  • Providing remote and on-site recovery support in the event of an out-of-service/outage condition caused by a disaster

  • Making escalation to support groups when needed

  • Maintaining interfaces with customer s technical personnel ensuring smooth information flow about reported problems and their resolution status as well as other activities with customer

  • Creating technical documents (ECP's, MOP's) and training materials.

  • Providing problem resolution assistance and training to other technical support personnel as required.

  • Participating in Field Trials, Proof of Concepts, Preliminary Acceptance Tests, Customer Demos/Workshops.

  • Becoming minimum of 3RP level in SRC track

  • Becoming subject matter expert at least in one of the; BNG, SeGW, WiFi offload, MBH solutions


  • Bachelor or Master degree in telecommunication, information technology or engineering

  • High customer orientation

  • High accountability with initiative/creative approach

  • Detail-oriented, well organized and multi-tasking

  • Very good social and communication skills

  • 4 years of relevant experience of IP/MPLS networks

  • Strong knowledge on Nokia Service Router family products is a big plus

  • Strong telecommunication technology knowledge in IP/MPLS areaand relevant ITU standards

  • Understanding of scripting, Linux/Unix platforms is a plus

  • Fluency in English

  • Secondary foreign language is a plus
