- Investigate, isolate and drive problems reported by customer to a closure;
This requires strong negotiation skills, and engineer troubleshoot background accompanied with thorough understanding of IP technology.
Perform Technical Support covering 24x7 network outage restoration;
Work on-site if needed;
Maintain interfaces with customer's technical personnel ensuring smooth information flow about reported problems and their resolution status as well as other activities with customer;
Maintain and improve interfaces with technical personnel from other multi-regional groups and organizations involved with Technical Support (Customer Advocates, Welcome Center, Logistics, FLM, Product Houses, OEMs).
Strong telecommunication technology knowledge in IP/MPLS area and relevant ITU standards;
Theoretical and practical (testing, troubleshooting) knowledge of IP/MPLS routers;
Ability to learn effectively and quickly;
Good verbal and written communication skills;
Team player with strong negotiation skills and the ability to work independently;
A flexible, positive and creative attitude to change;
Languages: English - fluent.
