Purpose and Fundamental Goals of the Position

  • Leverage the conversions in the market to Safety Products.

  • Ensure the awareness of customers about high quality of pre-analytical process management.

  • Increase the category share of BD in the target market

  • Increase the awareness level of the customers on the Health Care Workers’ safety issues

  • Implement BD Sales strategies to achieve the objectives in the target market

  • Establishing, and maintaining strong relationships with the distributors and the customers.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • To build business relationships within hospital accounts to maximize sales of a specified range of products by creating and developing “Best Practice” procedures related to added value products on dedicated area

  • Maintain and develop market expert knowledge in terms of customer needs, local healthcare strategy, competition, technologies and applications

  • Monitor, collect and analyse market potential

  • Actively be present in every step of the buying process starting from demand creation to purchasing procedures

  • Being in search of opportunities in terms of regional expansion

  • To build relationships and communicate with key opinion leaders to create and maintain awareness of ‘Best Practice’, trends and procedures

  • To constitute brand loyalty among key opinion leaders, physicians and key nurses thorough continuous and stable market presence

  • Communication of market and competitor information

  • To liaise and work with distributors and Clinical Resource Consultant to provide customers product education and training to support added value business in dedicated area

  • To present clinically orientated but commercially focused product training programs for identified customers – hospitals.

  • To identify, select and prioritize target accounts and Key Customers on dedicated area in alignment with corresponding distributors

  • Achieves standards, expectations and performance as agreed with Business Manager.

  • Develop efficient and effective call planning to maximise use of time.

  • To represent BD in a professional manner on all occasions. To take ownership of local customer complaints and queries, ensuring they are handled in a timely and professional manner.

  • To attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions to promote both BD company image and selected range of products.

  • In liaison with Clinical Resource Consultant, co-ordinates product promotion and launch activities according to marketing strategies

Requirements

  • Educational background in Positive Sciences (ie biology, chemistry, molecular biology & genetics..)

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications

  • At least 2 years working within the Healthcare,Medical sales environment

  • A clinical background will be an advantage Being fluent in English is an advantage

  • Good knowledge of computer and software systems

  • Willing to travel frequently
