PROJECT PLANNING :

  • Responsible to develop and maintain the project/program schedule in order to manage efficiently the time commitments of the project/program

  • Establish scheduling guidelines & communication applicable to the project/program and its stakeholders; including organizing project/program core team meetings, to ensure all project/program scheduling requirements are properly documented and reported applying standard methods, tools, & reporting

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive and logic linked scheduling for Projects/Programs incorporating: project/program activities (Engineering, Industrial, Installation and Test & Commissioning), associated resources and skills needs, Products and Systems deliveries, gate reviews, sourcing deadlines

  • Analyze schedule performance compared to the contract/program plan using critical path analysis method with a focus on early identification of risks and opportunities to facilitate proactive actions that will optimize on-time performance of internal and subcontracted stakeholders

  • Identify potential issues/bottlenecks and propose action plans (including scheduling logicreshuffling) to challenge the project/program core team to secure delivery dates. Follow up the related action plans when agreed by project/program management team

  • Develop & manage the communication cycle between project/program core team, customer and all project/program stakeholders, as described in the project/program management plan, including Weekly Meeting Minutes, Weekly Reports, Monthly KPIs, Monthly Schedule meetings,Schedule meetings/report vs. customer and Project/Program Review preparation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced University Degree in Engineering / Industrial Engineering

  • Minimum 4 years of successful experience as a Planning & Scheduling within railway/signaling projects & industries

  • Good knowledge on Railway/ Signaling/ Civil Works – Scheduling and Planning, Critical Path Analysis and demonstration of methods and tools

  • Competencies in bottleneck analysis, forecast and monitoring of each work breakdown structure

  • Good knowledge on Ms Project, Primavera and customized planning-scheduling tools

  • Fluent in English and Turkish

  • Broad knowledge of the railway environment and engineering practices in particular at System level / Signaling Projects / Railway Projects

  • Time management skill

  • Structured and organized with hands-on approach

  • Very good interpersonal skills
