Purpose and Fundamental Goals of the Position

Drive sustainable revenue growth in line with business strategies in the assigned region

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • To lead, manage and develop the PAS Team in Turkey ensuring the team delivers annually agreed sales targets within budgeted expenses

  • Coach, motivate and develop the capabilities of the sales organisation. Upgrade the skills and increase capabilities of the individual team members. Including quarterly reviews and annual PMP reviews and development plans

  • Drive sales-effectiveness by implementing company segmentation & targeting methodologies

  • Develop distribution strategy: evaluate, select, manage and develop distributors by region and product line.

  • Provide indirect leadership and coaching for distributor management and staff including developing product knowledge; teamwork; trust; motivation; and providing ongoing feedback and coaching on performance and development and championing an environment of high performance, open communication, involvement and responsibility.

  • Ensure proper and flawless execution of sales & marketing strategies in the region within the frame of SMART objectives.

  • Be a part of Business LT, provide consolidated feedback from the field to LT in order to shape Business strategies.

  • Ensure proper commercial excellence in the region

  • Effectively work with the PAS Business functions

  • Pursue collaboration with other businesses that will create synergies at BDX level

  • Develop close relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs in order to influence healthcare policies, and project funding.

  • Be actively involved in the sales processes with end users in cooperation with the distributor staff.

  • Proactively develop and personally implement business and marketing plans, pricing policy, sales strategies and promotional plans by distributor, market and product group for PAS sales in order to meet and exceed business objectives.

  • Recommend organization growth to add skilled manpower by providing strong business case and plan

  • Hire competent and skilled sales team members for the region

  • Spend effective working time in the field both with field sales force and customers

  • Develop, communicate and execute regional business plans to meet budgetary expectations

  • Coach sales team progress towards business goals


  • Graduated from University. MBA is an asset

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications

  • Being fluent in English

  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience

  • Solid experience within the healthcare environment
