The aim of the position is to balance between preparing reports, declarations and other standard accounting activities. The role will perform statutory accounting, tax declarations, e-ledger printing, AR supervising, month end/quarter end closing in sta and responsible for managing e-invoice system and improvements. The position will manage E&Y, KPMG audits, as required by Turkish tax law, both tax certification audit and independent audit.

15%: Booking and Management of Account Receivable related entries (OTSC), Collections, cheques

15%: AR/AP reconciliation monthly/quarterly – BA-BS declaration reconciliation

35%: Prepare tax, year-end and advance income declarations, and e-ledger submission to the tax office (VAT, Withholding tax, Stamp Tax, Income tax, Prepaid Tax, VAT Refund, SGK declaration)

15%: Prepare daily cash flow and collection reports and customer dispute solving

15%: To reconcile bank accounts, Revaluation, COGS calculation, month end checks Mikro/JDE. Help developing local system Mikro.

5%: Balance sheet reconciliation


  • University degree in Business Administration or Economics


  • 5-6 years of accounting experience in a multinational company

  • USGAAP or IFRS knowledge is an asset (preferred)


  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of cost accounting and MS office applications

  • Advanced level of English

  • Strong analytical skills and desire to learn

  • Foreign Currency /translation experience
