Business Office – Administrative Assistant /Translator Malatya, Turkey Raytheon is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support as well as translation services in its Malatya, Turkey location. The individual must be a local national and very familiar with the greater Malatya area. Administrative tasks: Serves as Interpreter and translator in support of In-Country Business Manager. Performs administrative and office support duties. Interacts with local government & non-government agencies to include, but not limited to, Police, Military, Hospital, Tax Office, Immigration Office, law firms & Turkish Customs. Receives and directs visitors, prepares meeting documents, reports and presentations. Facilitates new employee orientations, provides emergency information and assistance and coordinates local housing and vehicle rentals. Coordinates for expatriating and repatriating employees, shipping and other logistics Manages calendars; makes travels arrangements and coordinates as required with US and Turkish visitors; provides welcome packages; and facilitates meeting and event arrangements. Archives and maintains all data & files and secure hard copies and files. Local Purchasing: Works with site personnel to clarify purchase requirements & requests Researches and Identifies available vendors throughout Turkey Drafts / prepares purchase orders Sends out RFQ and bids, obtains required procurement documents from vendors Coordinates vendor selection, timely deliveries and payments Archives & maintains purchase records Employee Housing: Ensures readiness of company provided accommodations, leases, repair & maintenance etc. Liaisons with local hotel management Assumes any other task assigned by Business manager or Site Manager 112911
