Position Purpose & Summary

Supports, leads execution and implementation of the long-term sales vision and goals as well as deploys and monitors selling planning tactics to reach sales targets within Turkey in feed aditives , Animal Nutrition for poultry

Leads and provides direction to front-line sales workforce professionals and sales supervisors. Supervises sales operations activities across a defined portfolio of products/services within Turkey.

This position is a sales position that requires interfacing with commercial management, product management as well as other functional areas within the organization in order to service and expand offerings at customers and mostly build new business in the Turkish market.

Medium & Small customers – own portfolio

Responsible for developing and executing the sales vision and medium/short term goals for more complex customer account(s) that will drive significant/moderate business/financial impact and will maximize opportunities for the customer and within defined area of scope.

Principal Accountabilities

70% - Commercial:

  • Continuously seeks, identifies, suggests and implements ways to grow the business and improve margin as well as ways to improve current commercial approach and practices

  • Deep understanding of market (Turkey) having a good helicopter view to create networks

  • Building, developing, and maintaining internal/external customer/client relationships; researching and identifying customer’s needs to ultimately create and propose solutions.

  • Work activities also include presenting/developing solutions recommendations, structuring, negotiating, and executing the sales/account contracts as well as setting targets and measuring results.

  • Proven track record of delivering business growth in premix/nutritional solutions.

  • Strong commercial approach to execute our strategy (aligned with the 5 Big Goals) in the region and being able to translate this in local language.

  • Deep understanding of the cultural and political situation of the country and ability to change all the obstacles we are facing to opportunists.

  • Keep Strategic view on market development and on next steps to guarantee sustainable growth

  • Specific focus on Mila 2,4 Aiden 2,4 and with service offering aligned for these specific segments

  • Ownership of Cargill Sales Framework and Sales Excellence to implement.

  • Partners with cross-functional stakeholders in CPN MEA (SMT, Supply Chain, RMS)to align on formulation, technical support, Strategic Pricing, Customer Service, etc.

  • High alignment and cooperation with the SMT in order to:

  • Deploy our NPSS program and the transition toward the Permix

  • Deliver the right services to our customers taking into consideration the customer

  • Provide first-line technical support to ensure a basic nutritional dialogue to minimize delay in getting ground support from CPN MEA Technical Team.

  • Supports in the preparation and evaluation of commerctrial growth proposals when required.

  • Be responsible for the forecasting and reporting of weekly sales volumes/gross margin, monthly business development reviews and develop detailed targeted and Key Account plans.

  • Manages and suggest ways to improve current commercial approach and practices.

  • Supports in the preparation and evaluation of commercial growth proposals when required.

  • Support supply chain efficiency by setting up distribution channels and assisting with logistics and product registrations

  • Supports customer needs through effective collaboration with Logistics/Procurement/Sales/Supply Chain departments to ensure availability of raw materials and ability to meet customer specifications and timelines. Ensures that customers are satisfied and that any inquiries, incidents and/or issues are resolved in a timely manner

  • Positions Cargill’s defined portfolio of products/services for most favorable opportunities by presenting the company’s capabilities and solutions.

Utilizes cross functional support to assess competitor capabilities along with comparisons to business’s capabilities to determine gaps and to position account offerings against competitive options.

  • Assists where applicable and resolves predicable issues, settles disagreements, and clarifies misunderstandings with customers, teammates, or supervisors to enhance account performance

Qualifications

Education

  • a minimum of bachelor degree in (Animal Nutrition/Veterinary Science)

Experience

  • 10 years of progressive sales management experience

  • Proven track record of delivering business growth in premix/nutritional solutions

  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills

  • A strong, independent team player

  • Ideally deep understanding of local/regional market dynamics

  • Previous exposure to managing sales professionals will be advantageous
